Dear Members,

The Federation of Accommodation Industry of India is pleased to submit it's Annual Report for the Current Year 2008/2009 .

This is our 3rd decade of service to the Accommodation Industry and we are confident that we have many miles to go as a force to reckon with in the Accommodation Industry with the objective 'One Industry One Voice' !

Our Programmes and Dinner Meetings have become very popular and we have the previlege to invite most of the personalities who matter in the Accommodation Industry for our regular Monthly Dinner Meetings .

When "The Right to Information Act' was introduced we were the first in the industry to invite the Chief Information Officer Dr.Suresh Joshi to our meeting.

When there was a raging controversy about increasing Property Taxes we invited the Chief Assessor and Collector Mr Pathan from Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The meeting with e-groups channel 'Be the Force' Mr Sangeet Kumar proved to be a grand success.

After every Central Government Budget we have invited eminent Income Tax consultants Mr. Anil Harish and Mr. Vimal Punmiya to address our members followed by very interesting questions and answers session.

For problems related to Stamp Duty eminent advocate Mr.Vinod Sampat has always guided us at our meetings and given valuable information to our members.

For issues related to Co-operative Societies and Transfer of Flats eminent advocates Mr. Ramesh Prabhu and Mr Mahabaleshwar Morje have addressed our members. On security issues we have invited the Police Commissioner also.

We are in constant touch with M.C.H.I, Estate Agents Association of India, Property Lessors Association , Property Owners Association, Practicing Engineers and Architects Association and most other Associations connected with our Industry from time to time. We have also arranged joint programmes with All India Business Council , Indian Merchants Chamber & other Trade Bodies.

Our office bearers Mr.Bharat Gupta (Hon.Vice President), Mr.Murari Chaturvedi (Hon.Vice President), Mr. Sharan Khanna (Hon.Treasurer)., Mr.Zubin Lakdawalla (Hon.Secretary), and all other Office Bearers and Managing Committee Members have been very active and a source of inspiration to our Federation activities.

Last but not in the least the entire credit goes to all our Members who have stood by us and supported us in all our programmes and celebrated their birthdays with equal enthusiasm at our Monthly Dinner Meetings.

We take pleasure in presenting the Annual Statement of Accounts and Balance Sheet presented by our Hon.Treasurer Mr Sharan Khanna.
